The Beaver United Methodist Preschool…
was established in 1975 to provide a stimulating and nurturing Christain environment in which to promote the development of children socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually. These goals can be accomplished with a program that offers continuity and interaction between children, teachers, parents, and the community. We hope to give each child the opportunity to learn while having fun!

Our Teachers

Amanda Cypher
3-Day Teacher
Mrs. Cypher joined the preschool in 2021. She is married with two daughters. Her family loves animals, including their two crazy dogs and three cats. She owns The Big Sno with her husband, which keeps them very busy over the summer!
What do you enjoy doing?
I love teaching and feel it is my true passion and calling. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and reading.
Who is the greatest influence in your life?
My grandma was such an important person in my life. Her unconditional love for God, and watching her serving Him with every ounce of her soul has really shaped me into the woman I am now. She was so devoted to her family, and her love was demonstrated quietly through her works, without boast or brag. Even though it’s been almost 20 years since she has passed, I still carry the lessons she taught me with me every day.
What do you hope our preschool students and families experience?
Love! I want all of the students to feel loved and valued. They will feel encouraged to explore in their learning journey in a positive and accepting environment.

Linda Novak
2-Day Teacher
Mrs. Novak joined our preschool in the summer of 2019. She is married and has two daughters, Lia Grace and Ciana Faith. Both girls are adopted from China and a blessing from God. Lily, their mischievous but adorable miniature schnauzer completes their family.
What do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy being creative and teaching children.
Who is the greatest influence in your life?
My father’s faith, commitment to family, integrity, work ethic, sense of humor , and generosity have influenced the way I choose to live my life.
What do you hope our preschool students and families experience?
I hope the preschool students and families will experience the love of Christ while attending BUMP. I would want the children to find joy in both learning and being with other children.

Linda Morse
Teacher's Assistant
Mrs. Morse joined our preschool in 2021.
What do you enjoy doing?
I love spending time with family, friends and working with children.
Who is the greatest influence in your life?
The greatest influence in my life would be my parents, they raised my sisters and I in the Church which is the foundation of my faith today. I will be forever grateful to them for their love and devotion to our family.
What do you hope our preschool students and families experience?
I hope the students and their families feel the love and joy of Christ in our classroom and that they will be excited to learn!
